The coils are located below and before the fans, which dehumidifies the air prior to impact with the fans, minimizing ice formation on the blades. This location also prevents product from landing on the coil surface. Should product fall through the mesh belt, it is retained in the fan compartment on a sheet metal deck area, where it is easy to clean up.
